What is the Uber Chicago Coverage Area?

You can find a map of our area of most reliable coverage at www.uber.com/chicago. We have your back covered if you need to get picked up or dropped off at the United Center, Soldier Field, both major airports, and the University of Chicago - just to name a few spots. Remember, once you get picked up, you can take your car anywhere! We're expanding coverage area all the time so keep checking back.

Could I take a car from Uptown to Round Lake, which is 60 min North?

The coverage area consists of the easiest places to get "picked-up" by an Uber. Once you're in a car, you're able to take the Uber wherever you like. The difficulties lie in getting picked up outside the coverage area.

Naperville is outside the coverage area, but there's a chance you'll be able to get a car there. You'll be good to go from ORD to Naperville for sure. Hope that helps!
